Learn to play traditional African music

African Arts Productions Inc. (AAP) is a non-profit organization (tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3)) incorporated in the state of Nevada and based in the Las Vegas area. We provide classes in African dance, drum, music, costuming, and theater, and perform in both public and private venues. People of all types and backgrounds are invited to participate. AAP is particularly dedicated to working with at-risk youth, offering mentoring and tutoring in an effort to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and our community.

AAP's leadership is made up of dedicated volunteers and performing artists who work together to achieve the organization's purpose and goals.

We are available to perform at Rites of Passage events, conferences, conventions, weddings, parties, festivals, parades, etc. AAP will create a thematic program to complement your event. We have dance troupes, drum teams, a multicultural band which plays world beat music, solo artists, storytellers for children's events, etc.
